Anatolia student makes it to the top-20 at the Panhellenic Astronomy Contest

Alexander Beltes, a 6th form (IB2) student at the Anatolia International Baccalaureate Program, ranked 17th in the 1st round of the Panhellenic Astronomy Contest, organized by the Hellenic Astronomy and Space Society, under the auspices of the Hellenic Ministry for Education and Religions.
 
The top-40 students of the 1st "Aristarchus" round will now compete on the 2nd "Hipparchus" round, which will be held at Volos on March 15th. The top-5 students of the 2nd round will form the Hellenic National Team for the 2nd International Astronomy and Astrophysics Olympiad to be held at Bandung, Indonesia, August 2008. Also, the first boy and the first girl of the 2nd round will take place at the NASA 10-day Space camp, which will be held at the U.S.A., this coming summer.
